Multiversal Advisory launches ‘MentoRise', a first in Mentor-Barter

For Immediate Release
Multiversal Advisory LLP launches ‘MentoRise’, a first in Mentor Barter
As a Multiversal Advisory Impact initiative, ahead of Women’s Day, the company is launching a pro bono pilot mentoring program called #MentoRise. A unique, first time barter mentoring plan, the mentors’ time will be exchanged for mentee’s dedication to the mentor’s preferred social cause - literally paying it forward. In the initial campaign, 10 Top Mentor Leaders have stepped up to give their valued time of between 1 - 2 hours every month and will be matched with women leaders (10+ years’ experience) who are eager to jumpstart their careers & deepen their impact.
However, as a name implies, there is a twist. For the first time mentors are valued for their precious time & perspectives by ensuring that 5X of the time they spend on mentoring is allocated by the mentee on a cause of the mentor’s choice. By doing this, there’s greater value & respect for each other ‘s time, and a huge ripple impact is made by the mentee getting into a relatively unknown space with a newer, fresher mindset and ability to impact. In addition, this could create social awareness in a space and pace that she was earlier neither aware nor inclined.
A win-win for all. And one for the world. All Rise. Meant-To-Rise. Mentor Rise. MentoRise.
Mentors approached have been delighted with this unusual mentorship program that is ‘Meant to Rise’, a play on the campaign title ‘MentoRise’. While the first six months will see an informal playout of this mentor exchange, HR leaders & TiE Bangalore on the side lines will also monitor its ongoing impact. In addition, in the next stage, this will definitely be extended to men and transgender community, and will also cover multiple sectors like government, not for profit etc.
Mentors confirmed include Forbes Power Listers, diplomats, top technocrats and overall role models . A mentor was delighted to think of the synergy a bright mind could bring in to her cause of adult disability, and the ripples and awareness that could be generated. As Multiversal Founder, Priya Chetty-Rajagopal said while animatedly discussing the program with fellow partner Harini Raghavan, ‘it may never have been done before - but it’s certainly inclusive, exciting and it creates true value for both the mentee and the mentor. It could open up a huge ability to impact the world. What’s to lose? The only way is up!’
Interested women leaders with 10 years plus experience keen to be mentored , can write in to mentorise@multiversal.co.in with a CV, a brief note on themselves, their need and the space they would like to impact, and this will be quickly assessed by the panel & mentors for selection and matching.

Love that MentoRise turns mentoring into a barter where mentors’ time is exchanged for mentees’ dedication to a social cause the mentor cares about, and matching 10 top leaders with women who have 10+ years’ experience feels especially timely ahead of Women’s Day. By the way, I keep a free AI prompt library and generator I like to share: https://nanoprompts.net/
